I have to say that most roller coaster rides don’t phase me anymore. But this ride might be worth the road trip to check it out!!!
The most insane roller coaster ever is coming: the Zumanjaro Drop Of Doom.
The tower-drop ride is coming to New Jersey’s Six Flags Great Adventure in 2014, and is sure to make your stomach turn, which we get a preview of here, via Theme Park Review.
It will rise 415 feet in the sky — that’s taller than the Statue of Liberty — and free fall at speeds reaching 90 mph. When it officially opens, it will be tallest tower-drop ride in the world. The title holder, the Lex Luthor: Drop of Doom at Six Flags Magic Mountain outside of Los Angeles, tops out at a 400 feet.
According to USA Today, on a clear day, Zumanjaro riders will be able to see all the way to Philadelphia some 50 miles away.
