RIP Cincinnati “Hat Man”

I have had the pleasure of meeting Cincinnati’s “Hat Man” on a few occasions. Mr. Avtar Gill, affectionately known as ‘Hat Man’ was found dead over the weekend at the Budget Host Motel on Central Parkway.  It is unclear how he died. An employee at the Budget Host Motel tells FOX19 that Gill was a long stay customer and they are sad to see him go.

Gill was well known for walking around downtown Cincinnati wearing large hats with signs on them.
