Reds Opening Day 2012 Sees Record Breaking Crowd!

All you could see was red! It was a record crowd at Great American Ballpark with close to 50,000 people filling the seats. There was plenty to celebrate today (on this unofficial Cincinnati holiday) and by the end of the night the city witnessed a victorious season opener.

What’s also a great look is the boost in the economy from all the dollars Opening Day brought in. Of course it takes time to calculate all the receipts from the local businesses, but officials are believe tens of millions of dollars were earned. Nice.
