Monday, March 26 come together in justice and peace for Trayvon. Trayvon Martin was shot to death February 26 by the head of the neighborhood watch in Sanford, Florida. The gunman, George Zimmerman who is accused of gunning down the 17-year-old male claimed self-defense and has not been charged. The teen as we know it was unarmed leaving a convenience store on foot while talking to a female friend on a cell phone when he was fatally shot. His family questioned police conduct, demanded answers, and the 911 calls to be released. All the while Zimmerman remains a free man. This incident has stirred up a lot of emotion within many in this country. Twitter and Facebook have been overwhelmed with messages of outpouring support for Trayvon Martin as well as young men across America drawing national attention to this case.

Do more than just talk about this issue. March for Justice Monday, March 26 at 5pm. Wear your hoodies and join the movement. The walk begins at the Main Library, downtown (on the Vine Street side). This is a peaceful NON VIOLENT march.
