The numbers are in, and although Drake didn’t reach the 700k that was estimated, he did well nonetheless. According to Soundscan numbers he did 631 466 units. He beat his previous album, “Thank Me Later”, by almost 200,000 units and he will land the top spot on Billboard 200. Plus he has the second highest numbers for first week sales in rap, coming up behind his boss, Lil Wayne, whose “Tha Carter IV” moved 964,000 units in the first week.
