We have a movie update for you! Some of you had the Scooby Doo face when we told you that Kim Kardashian would be starring in Tyler Perry‘s “The Marriage Counselor”. Now, there are additions to the cast.
The cast of Tyler Perry’s latest film, The Marriage Counselor, is rounding out, as Lance Gross, and Vanessa Williams have been added. Williams posted a message via her Twitter account that read: “Headed to Hotlanta to meet mogul Tyler Perry for the 1st time & get fitted for a role in his new film. I’m sure fashion will be fab!” As previously reported, Journee Smollett and Kim Kardashian have already been cast in the film about an Ivy League-educated relationship expert who makes her living dispensing marital advice, but is so bored with her own marriage that she breaks her professional code and cheats with a smooth talking client only to realize she has made a huge mistake. Gross will play the role of her husband, while Williams plays her mom. Gross, who’s best known for his role as Calvin Payne in the TBS sitcom ‘Tyler Perry’s House of Payne,’ was last seen on the big screen opposite Forest Whitaker in the romantic comedy Our Family Wedding, His next film will be In the Fall. Williams currently stars as Renee Perry in ABC’s ‘Desperate Housewives,’ and was last seen opposite Miley Cyrus in Hannah Montana: The Movie.
