There was an incredibly exciting energy permeating the entire city this weekend as the 2011 Macy’s Music Festival kicked off for the legions of R&B, soul, jazz and funk music fans arriving for yet another year of great live music. Just hours before the show began, R&B singer/songwriter EL DeBarge – one of the top performers of the MMF 2011 lineup – appeared inside the Macy’s downtown Cincinnati department store for a chance to get up close and personal with his supportive fans new and old.
