The world of Hip Hop and R&B has a few good gentlemen coming your way and 101.1 The Wiz wants to be the first to tip you off on the industry’s hottest new ensemble Hamilton Park. Hailing from Atlanta, GA, the four members of Hamilton Park (Mr. Marcus Lee, Anthony, Chris Voice and Royce P.) have been blazing a trail across the Internet since the release of their digital single “Computer Love,” with an accompanying music video that’s already accumulated close to an astounding 700,000 views on YouTube.
The newly signed group effortlessly blends their tight harmonies (a remnant of their younger days singing together in church choirs), silky smooth R&B phrasing in their songs and the swag of seasoned Hip Hop artists. The fellas caught the ear of Andre Harrell during his “Super Soul Search” with Radio One and were eventually inked on his new label on Atlantic Records. Reminiscent of the days when male R&B groups set the tone, Hamilton Park picks up where their musical influences (Jodeci, Guy and Atlanta’s own Jagged Edge) might have left off some years ago.
Get to know each member of Hamilton Park via the live interview clips below with 101.1 The Wiz’s own Don Juan FaSho as they prove why they’re “the new generation of R&B” with style, unity and showmanship.
