This brave individual stood up to his attacker and came on the Oprah show to tell his story. Tommy Bennett from Danville, Virginia said he has been gay since he could spell it. Mr. Bennett claims he was teased just about every day. He recalls being harassed by one particular school mate. The young man told Tommy he was going to beat him up on Friday after school. Tommy then went to the school office and phoned his father and asked to be removed from school early. His father responded “if you don’t beat him then don’t come home”.
