This weekend was full of big surprises and blazing hot performances as music fans from near and far made their way to the west coast for the 2011 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. The diverse three-day event that drew thousands and kicked off a season of record-breaking crowds gathering for a string of live entertainment ranging from rock to Hip Hop, pop, dance music and so much more.
One of the highlights from the big show was the duo NAS & Damian Marley (collectively known as “Distant Relatives”) who completely slaughtered their set for nearly an hour performing a wide variety of classics from both of their extensive catalogs. Their seamless blend of Hip Hop with a bit of island flair brought the heat to the massive crowd as Coachella closed out on a high note Sunday evening.
