Beyonce is set to step into her biggest movie role yet.
Deadline is reporting that Clint Eastwood will direct the Houston native in ‘A Star Is Born’ remake.
The Warner Bros backed project will be the 3rd remake of the 1937 film about a young singer who meets and falls in love with a male singer who’s career is on the decline.
Deadline reports that possible male leads include names like Diddy, Will Smith, Robert Downey Jr and Jon Hamm.
Already an international singing star, Beyonce’s film career has continued to grow as well. Her most notable movies are “Dreamgirls”, “Obsessed”, “The Pink Panther” and “Austin Powers in Goldmember.”
In addition to directing the movie, Eastwood will also produce it through his production company Malpaso.
