As many of you are still completing your morning commute, here are a few updates on what’s happening as the snow continues to fall and the temperature continues to drop.

So far the weather forecast claims the snow will continue steadily throughout the day, but will eventually taper to scattered snow showers this evening with potential for more snow overnight and during tomorrow’s commute.

A winter storm warning has indeed been placed into effect for the Tri-State area until midnight on Wednesday and in some counties a snow emergency has also been declared.

Did your children, neighbors and friends get a snow day? Find out which school districts, businesses and churches have closed their doors today in light of the snow.

SCHOOL DELAYS & CLOSINGS

With more snow expected to fall today, looks like its impacting travel already as nearly 65 reported flights have been canceled early this morning at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. The weather has created cancelations scheduled for the first portion of the day so travelers beware. We are urging you to check your flight status before attempting to make it to the airport.

Above all, please be safe and/or simply stay off the roads as much as possible. Keep an eye out on the news outlets of your choice and watch the weather reports often. It is going to be a messy one and remember safety first. We’ll be back with updates as the morning continues.
