In this week’s Sales Wrap, Kanye West dominates the competition, Nicki Minaj’s debut album lands softly at No. 2, plus new releases from Lloyd Banks, Jay-Z and Ne-Yo make the chart.

Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy topped the chart this week in the No. 1 spot. According toNielsen SoundScan, Yeezy’s follow-up to 2008’s 808’s & Heartbreaksold 497,100 records after seven days in stores.

Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj’s long-awaited Pink Friday finally hit retail shelves and debuted at No. 2. With a week under her pink belt, the emcee’s debut album has pushed out 376,000 copies.

Pop star Rihanna’s Loud dropped three slots to No. 6 with 140,800. Heading into her third week, the singer’s new album has sold 347,600 units to date.

R&B singer Ne-Yo’s Libra Scale debuted on the chart this week at No. 9. The crooner’s latest Def Jam release has moved 112,500 records after a week on store shelves.

Pop star Ke$ha’s Cannibal also debuted on the chart this week at No. 15. With seven days to her name, the singer’s new solo project has moved 74,300 records to date.

Grammy-winning rapper Eminem’s Recovery slipped two slots to No. 25 with 48,000. After 23 weeks running and gunning on the chart, Slim Shady’s latest release currently stands at 3,052,900 sold copies.

G-Unit member Lloyd Banks’ Hunger For More 2 debuted on the chart this week finding a spot at No. 26. After seven days in stores, the “Punch Line King’s” newest solo effort managed to sell 44,500 records.

R&B singer Mariah Carey’s Merry Christmas II You took a six-slot fall to No. 28 with 41,600. Heading into her fifth week, the singer’s new album has moved 165,400 records to date.

Young Money leader Lil Wayne’s I Am Not A Human Beingremained at No. 31 with 36,900. With nine weeks in the books, Weezy’s latest solo project has managed to push out 511,300 units.

Pop star Bruno Mars’ Doo-Wops & Hooligans received a 14-spot boost to No. 36 with 33,400. After two months in stores, the singer’s new LP sits at 197,500 sold records.

Grammy-winning rapper Nelly’s 5.0 took a hard hit falling 29 slots to No. 39 with 30,800. Headed into his third week, the St. Lunatics leader’s new LP stands at 94,400 sold copies.

Rapper Kid Cudi’s Man on the Moon 2 also fell hard dropping 20 positions to No. 41 with 30,200. After three weeks in stores, the rapper’s sophomore effort has pushed out 235,900 records.

Rap mogul Jay-Z’s Hits Collection debuted on the chart this week at No. 43. After seven days, the rapper’s greatest hits compilation disc has sold 27,900 units.

Evening things out in Top 50 is Trey Songz’s Passion, Pain & Pleasure which remained at No. 49 with 23,800. After 11 weeks, the singer’s new album currently stands at 532,100 sold copies.
