Sad. Unfortunate. Yet totally hilarious! Our boy Charlie Murphy received a very rude awakening this past weekend and it was from a crowd he should’ve easily been able to win over.
While performing this past weekend at Grambling State University the reality of his whack stand up skills became very apparent as the student audience went in on poor Charlie. The noted comedian/actor appears to have had enough of these kinds of reactions to his live material and poor delivery.
During the sudden round of boos and disapproving commentary from the students, Charlie gave up and called someone from off stage to bring him his check. He then help it up for the audience to see and announced it was his payment for the show before dropping it to the ground and issuing his final salutation just before exiting stage left.
