This weekend’s Fat Laces & Fades concert in downtown Baltimore was undeniably one of the hottest shows of the year. The lineup included some of the heavy-hitting pioneers of hip hop music including Big Daddy Kane, MC Lyte, Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick and Whodini. DJ Reggie Reg and 92Q’s KiKi Brown hosted the show. Baltimore’s DJ Mike Crosby is to thank for putting together this amazing show. Congrats Mike!
As a true lover of hip hop I could recite many of the lyrics, although I’m an 80’s baby. And what I did not know I listened and stayed attentive like a student in history class.
