It’s your final chance to help NOC and MusicJunkie in taking a look at the best (and the worst) of the individual cyphers that took place during last night’s BET Hip Hop Awards show. They were all incredibly impressive, but 101.1 The Wiz wants to know what you thought of them one by one.

Of course, we’re not going to put all of the work on you. Together myself and my favorite new music critic have decided to chime in on the freestyle cyphers and let you know what we thought of each one, too.

Then of course, all you have to do is post your thoughts and responses to the cypher or our recaps below on the message board below. And it’s easy to jump into the conversation we’ve been having all day so just post your thoughts below, too.

The final freestyle cypher comes from a very eclectic crew of Hip Hop heavy hitters both new and old. Take a look and listen along with us as we check out Raekwon the Chef, Wiz Khalifa, Yelawolf and Bones Brigante in action to see who’s flow was on fire.

NOC’S REPORT:

First off i think this is a great example of the cypher melting pot. You bring in different elements to concock something great! Wiz Kalifa brings the signature blazed and dazed flows and a seemless picture he paints with his story telling. Yelawolf brings that element of surprise. Cause if you’ve never heard of him you think what in the world is he bout to do? But he’s on the flip the scrip type flow where he’s more energetic and everywhere with the lyrics but it makes sense. It’s like a rare ADD form of rap. not too many can pull it off. Bones definitely brings the pow to the table. Like that’s the extra spice that really hit you when you bite down on that freshly cooked steak. I’d have to aggree with you on Brigante….he brought it. And to end it off right no meal would be as good as it is with out the master chef Raekwon. He definitely brought that vintage wu and showed the new cats to show homage to those before them and no longer here.

MUSICJUNKIE’S REPORT:

All right, we made it to the final freestyle cypher. When this one first started, I got nervous from all the extras in the back, lol! I didn’t know who was about to step up, but I was hoping it wasn’t all of ’em. Anyways, this crew was different. I’m just not hearing about both Yelawolf and Wiz Khalifa because their names have been popping up a little more than a few of the other new cats we’ve heard from in each cypher. But the mic would go to Bones Brigante in my opinion. He sounds nothing like how he looks which is very deceiving, but in a good way. I thought he wouldn’t come as hard as he did. That Yelawolf character is one to watch, too. It’s always the ones you least expect that blow up so I’m sure he’ll be on everyone’s playlists really soon. Raekwon – man, what can I say? He’s always been consistent and the fact that he stopped to pay homage to the deceased means he’s aware and not into self. Mad love for that one for real.
