I remember when this record dropped and I was so anti-Keyshia Cole. I admit I was completely WRONG about my first impression of Keyshia and her debut record I Changed My Mind. It was more so the video I think. I was so against the hair and the various hood-rich outfits. It was all doing way too much for me. Even looking back at it I’m slightly annoyed. SMH. However, the song has certainly grew on me! I love Keyshia’s first album The Way It Is. It has reached classic status amongst contemporary R&B heads. We’ve literally watched Keyshia evolve professionally and personally-stepping gracefully into womanhood. Keyshia fans are excited to hear new material (as we’re sure she’s inspired by the recent event of her life: new love & new baby). Until then, enjoy Kiwi’s Pick of the day!
