Help Wanted!
Are you 50+ and struggling to find employment? Wednesday, September 22 from 10-2pm a Career Fair will be held inside the Holiday Inn Express on Hauck Road. Participating employers represent industries as health care, customer service, hospitality, finance, transportation and lots more.
First Aid, CPR and AED Certification Training
Saturday, October 2 from 9am until 1:30pm learn emergency procedures. Sessions consist of breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants, and children and adults. Also get educated on how to administer first aid, bandaging and more. This session is open to individuals 12 and older. The cost is $35 per person. Registration and fees are due Monday, September 27. Dream BIG Weekend
Get lifted spiritually starting Friday inside Allen Temple AME Church on Reading Road. Starting at pm hear from the “Guinness book of World Records” recipient to star successfully in 3reality television shows, singer Robert Hatcher and a host of others. Doors open at 6pm. Pre show begins at 7. Concert starts at 8pm.Every denomination is welcome. This is a FREE event.
Election Day
Election Day is quickly approaching. Early voting for residents of Ohio begin September 28. Remember November 2 is Election Day. Help make change and vote! If you have yet to get registered, stop by the Hamilton County board of elections or your local DMV.
College Fair
Alabama State, Morehouse, Tennessee State, Grambling… Which college would you like to attend? The choice is yours. Local students and parents are invited to learn about the unique opportunities available at historically black colleges and universities.
