Contrary to reports, R&B songstress Ciara is not dating rapper 50 cent and she is currently looking for someone to fill that role in her life.
“I am single,” Ciara tells Hollyscoop. “I want someone who is confident, someone that’s fun, someone that can support me and motivate me, and they gotta be sexy too.”
As for now, the R&B princess is focus on her forthcoming studio album ‘Basic Instinct,’ which she calls her best record to date.
“I am finishing up my new album Basic Instinct. I executive produced it with Tricky and The Dream, and my fans are really going to be in for a treat,” she said.
Ciara recently shot the music videos for “Speechless” and “Gimme Dat,” which she calls her best video ever.
“I’m gonna say that with ‘Gimmie Dat’; the energy is level 10 – turnt up to the max. We really just rocked and just really went hard. I’m very proud of it. I don’t want to put too much on until I finish the editing process, but I really feel like it’s going to be my best one to date.”
In other news, Ciara’s collaborative performance with N.E.R.D at the recent MTV Video Music Awards could stem into more treats for fans.
“We’re talking about doing a couple of things. We’ve been in the studio a little bit too, just, like, talking about things and stuff,” Ciara said. “In the future, it’s very possible that you’ll be hearing something more from possibly me and N.E.R.D and also maybe even just me and Pharrell, musically.”
Speaking of the performance at MTV VMAs itself, Ciara commented, “I have to say, I had a lot fun performing with Pharrell. He’s such a sweetheart, their whole crew, Chad [Hugo], Shay, all of them are such sweet guys. I had a wonderful time.”
