High Noon has issued a recall for its Beach Variety 12-packs because some cans, labeled as CELSIUS ASTRO VIBE Energy Drink, Sparkling Blue Razz Edition, mistakenly contain vodka seltzer. Consequently, this mislabeling poses a risk of unintentional alcohol consumption. The affected cans, identifiable by silver lids and lot codes L CCB 02JL25 2:55 to L CCB 02JL25 3:11, were shipped to Ohio retailers, including Cincinnati, between July 21 and July 23, 2025.

Impact on Cincinnati Consumers

For Cincinnati residents, this recall is particularly concerning. Many local stores, such as Kroger, may have received these mislabeled cans. As a result, consumers might unknowingly drink alcohol, which is dangerous for children, those with medical conditions, or individuals avoiding alcohol for personal reasons. Fortunately, no illnesses have been reported yet. However, High Noon urges consumers to check lot codes and dispose of affected cans immediately.

What to Do Next

If you purchased High Noon Beach Variety packs or CELSIUS ASTRO VIBE cans, verify the lot codes. Then, contact High Noon Consumer Relations at consumerrelations@highnoonvodka.com for refunds or further instructions. Additionally, avoid consuming the liquid in silver-lidded cans. This recall, prompted by a packaging supplier error, affects only specific lots, so other High Noon products remain safe. Ultimately, Cincinnatians should act quickly to ensure safety.
