Labor Day weekend is here! Take a break from the BBQ’s and grab the family and bring’em out to Jordan’s Crossing for the Universoul Circus. This year’s ring master is non other than comedian “Shuckey Duckey”. I had the pleasure to witness the Back to School Jam on Friday. Everyone’s favorite front man Zeke was there, along with Onion Head the Clown from the Hood. There was a special performance put on by two of Cincinnati’s hottest dance teams, 2Krucial and Grand Prize.
The circus performers put on a show that will give you memories that will most definitely last a lifetime. See amazing acts from all around the world, such as the Afrikan Dance Team, Chinese Drum Line, China Soul Flyers. Yes! There are elephants (they stink too) and fierce tigers. There was even had a dog show. The poodles jumped rope, danced the two step and a whole lot more. Ladies watch as the fella’s from Ethiopia stood shoulder to shoulder and walked the tight rope. It was really intense. One man did the splits, got up and continued to dance across the rope. Keep watching because at times they broke it down and did the slow wind. OMG.
Everybody’s favorite loveable huggable DJ: Sean Kelly was the celebrity Ring Master. He almost made me choke on my funnel cake a few times. This man rode one of the elephants in the ring, he danced the “Soul Train Line” while doing the Prep and revealing his tummy for all to see and danced some more until he made it to the very end. His presence was felt every time he came into the ring. He is a show stopper! You had to be there. Go DJ, that’s my DJ. Biggups to DJ Sean Kelly.
Seeing is believing! The Universoul Circus continues today and tomorrow. Be amazed!
