NBA YoungBoy Released from Prison After Serving 11 Months

Rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again, known as NBA YoungBoy, has been released from Talladega Federal Correctional Institution in Alabama after serving 11 months of a 23-month sentence. His release was confirmed by fellow NBA member OG 3Three, who shared the news on social media.
The 25-year-old rapper was arrested on April 16, 2024, at his Utah residence, facing charges related to a prescription drug fraud ring and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. In November 2024, he pleaded guilty to 10 counts in the drug case, receiving a suspended prison sentence and a $25,000 fine. The following month, he pleaded guilty to the firearm charges and was sentenced to 23 months in prison.
With time served, NBA YoungBoy is now on five years of supervised release. During this period, he must adhere to 10 special conditions, including monthly drug and alcohol screenings, and completing both mental health and substance abuse evaluations.
Fans and fellow artists have expressed excitement about his release, anticipating new music and projects from the Baton Rouge native.
