Police Identify 13-Year-Old Boy Killed in Winton Terrace

A 13-year-old boy was shot and killed in Winton Hills Thursday night, according to the Cincinnati Police Department. CPD identified the victim as Izreal Bishop.

Authorities received the first calls around 8:30PM reporting a shooting in the 700 block of Dutch Colony Drive. When emergency crews arrived, they found Izreal outside with gunshot wounds to his stomach and chest. He was rushed to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Cincinnati Public Schools shared with WCPO9 that Bishop was a student at Hughes STEM High School

Police say the Homicide Unit is investigating, but no further details about the shooting have been released. No arrests have been made at this time.
