Do you think Cincy is a good place to find your lovebug?
If you’re single and ready to mingle, Cincinnati might be the place to change that. A new report from WalletHub ranks Cincinnati among the top ten cities in the U.S. for singles, coming in at No. 8.! The Queen City earned its spot thanks to a robust, lively dating pool and plenty of fun activities.
The study ranked cities based on economics, fun and recreation, and dating opportunities— analyzing 35 key indicators of “dating-friendliness”. While Cincinnati ranked 75th in economics, we excelled in other areas. For example, Cincy came in 25th for fun and recreation and 20th for dating opportunities. Highlight ranks include a No. 1 position in coffee and tea shops per capita, No. 8 in parks per capita, and 12th in music festivals.

Chip Lupo, an analyst at WalletHub, praised Cincinnati for its variety of activities and affordability. It’s mentioned that singles don’t have to “go far” to find something fun to do or meet other singles. However, safety and weather challenges kept Cincy out of the top five. The top spots were taken by Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Seattle.
