Former Bad Boy producer D-Dot recently spoke to Vibe Magazine about a collaboration between rappers Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj. D-Dot explained that Lil Kim gave the okay for Minaj to appear on the now unfinished track.

“As soon as Kim came home from jail–right before ‘Dancing With The Stars’–I was like, ‘There’s this new bitch that’s about to be hot, you might want to fuck with her,'” said D-Dot. “Nicki came to the studio and did the verse with me. She hadn’t even met Kim…[Lil Kim] said ‘cool when you put Nicki on it send it back to me.’ … I sent it back and she never re-did a new verse. So that’s the same old Lil Kim reference verse.”

The song which is entitled “Everywhere We Go” somehow managed to make its way onto the internet last month.

“I didn’t leak the record,” D-Dot explained to Vibe. “The only people that had a copy was Lil Kim and me. So I don’t really know where that came from.”

For the past month or so Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim have continuously fired subliminal shots at each other as part of a feud that seemed to come out of nowhere. A number of artists including Diddy, Ludacris, and Ja Rule have expressed their distaste with the situation between the two female rappers. Via:Hiphopdx.com  Parental advisory warning
