Happy Memorial Day

Cincinnati we hope you’re enjoying your Memorial Day celebrations, but we have one favor to ask. Can somebody save us a plate of barbecue? Chicken and ribs? Macaroni and cheese and some potato salad would be lovely!

Just kidding folks! Seriously, if you’re celebrating with friends or catching up on quality time spent with the family, enjoy yourself and don’t forget that today is a day to honor, remember and salute our heroes from all walks of life who’ve fought for each one of us whether directly or indirectly. Those heroes can be veterans of a war, soldiers on the battlefield, family members who’ve sacrificed, icons we’ve lost recently or just all around good people who deserved to be remembered for their contributions to society at large.

So today, while you’re enjoying this day off from work, having fun in the sun and kicking off the summer of 2010 with a smile, stand up and say “thank you” as we salute our heroes all day long! Have a happy, safe and successful Memorial Day on us – 101.1 The Wiz!
