A Michigan granny got an unusually high water bill — so she threatened to fire a gun at her grandson for taking too many showers.

Police were called to the home of Jaclynn Doreatha Wedlow by the teen, who said that she’d pointed a rifle at him and warned him about his over-enthusiastic bathing habits — which contributed to a $1000 utility bill. The boy told deputies that Wedlow shouted at him to get his brother out of the shower and hit the road, adding that if the two didn’t leave, they’d get their “heads blown off.”

The 66-year-old insisted she couldn’t have pointed a gun because there were no weapons in the house, but when an officer searched her bedroom, they found a rifle wrapped in plastic tarp — at which point she was arrested for felonious assault and domestic violence. (Detroit News)
