(CNN) It was ‘”mo’ money, mo’ problems” for Memphis-based rapper Blac Youngsta on Friday.

A case of mistaken identity led to the rapper being briefly detained outside an Atlanta bank after withdrawing $200,000.

On Friday, Atlanta police received a call that a man was cashing a forged check at a Wells Fargo bank. Coincidentally, rapper Sam Benson, who goes by Blac Youngsta, was at the same bank withdrawing $200,000 to purchase a new vehicle.

When police arrived, they detained 25-year-old Blac Youngsta and everyone inside his vehicle. His manager snapped a photo of the rapper on the ground as police handcuffed him.

“It was quickly discovered that the person providing the description to police had provided the wrong description of the suspect,” said Atlanta police spokeswoman Officer Kim Jones.

The rapper and his entourage were released at the scene. Blac Youngsta took to social media claiming that the police stopped him because he was “young and black.”

“I went and got out too much money out,” the rapper said in a video posted on Instagram. “They said they thought I was robbing the bank.”
