You might be thinking to yourself that “the Hip Hop heads can’t act right anywhere.” But this coming week, that couldn’t been further from the truth.

Our sources at AllHipHop.com just caught wind that West Palm Beach is already up in arms as the city’s police force preps for an expected picket protest at an upcoming festival sure to bring thousands.

This year’s highly anticipated SunFest is scheduled to feature a variety of top rock and superstar Hip Hop acts we’ve come to know and love. The festival will include performances by ZZ Top, Weezer, Sean Kingston, and of course, both Nas and Damian Marley.

The loud music and crowds are surprisingly not the only target this time around, but the actual city of West Palm Beach itself is part of the problem. Earlier this month, police officers announced they would protest West Palm Beach’s decision to eliminate officer’s pay raises and reduce benefits. Held April 28th to May 2nd, The SunFest is one of the biggest events hosted in West Palm Beach.

Find out why the protest is scheduled to make headlines and how it will affect the show by visiting AllHipHop.com.

Do you think this protest will cause more of a disruption than necessary? Would you still plan to see the Nas and Damian Marley show at The SunFest? Post your thoughts below.
