Rihanna has been making her moves all over the fashion world, but her Navy is craving for anything one the music front.
After giving us some signs that her highly-anticipated R8 album could be on the way with her singles “BBHMM” and “American Oxygen,” hopes fell short without a whisper of a project all summer.
With the Fall season having officially started, the Bajan beauty started things off by covering NME Magazine, and she did give an update on the album.
She tells the magazine:
“It’s not done!” she says. “To me it’s never done until it’s done. Until the final moment.”
“No matter what I post online, within three comments there’s somebody saying, ‘Where is ‘R8’?’ I could post anything. Nothing else matters. They don’t care about anything but that. But it makes me excited, because I can’t wait to give them something great.”
RiRi even touched on whether or not she might be one of the next people to appear on stage with Taylor Swift, who has brought out everyone and their mama’s for her tour.
“I don’t think I would. I just don’t think it makes sense.”
“I don’t think our brands are the same, I don’t think they match, I don’t think our audiences are the same. In my mind she’s a role model, I’m completely not.”
