She used the hashtags #BFFs and #KanTay2020, joking that she may be joining West on a joint ticket in the 2020 presidency. Taylor Swift even opened up in a recent magazine interview with Vanity Fair. She credits mutual friend Jay Z for bringing them together after years of bad blood. “I feel like I wasn’t ready to be friends with [West] until I felt like he had some sort of respect for me, and he wasn’t ready to be friends with me until he had some sort of respect for me—so it was the same issue, and we both reached the same place at the same time,”
