Main Suspect In Bangkok Bombing Has Been Detained
The Thai junta chief General Prayuth Chan-ocha has announced that authorities believe they have found the man responsible for bombing a famous shrine in Thailand last month. The man captured was holding a passport with the name Yusufu Mieraili, a 25-year-old from China’s Xinjiang region. It is believed that the man committed the bombing as revenge for Thailand’s mass deportation of 109 Uighur Muslims to China where the Beijing government has notoriously been abusing minority groups.
