Tomorrow marks the 50th anniversary of the march on Selma.  The March on Selma also known as Bloody Sunday had garnered a lineup for the masses with celebrities including Rick Ross, Tamar Braxton, Doug E Fresh, Fantasia and more will commemorate the historic day. In Selma there will be a concert that will be aired on Centric from the Pettus Bridge. A compilation of events, history and archives related to the Selma 50 celebration and the history of Bloody Sunday is HERE.

On March 7, 1965 around 600 people crossed the Edmund Pettus Bridge in an attempt to begin the Selma to Montgomery march. State troopers violently attacked the peaceful demonstrators in an attempt to stop the march for voting rights.
