Lil Wayne Blasts Birdman and Says He Wants To Leave YMCMB

With all of the drama surrounding Cash Money Records and the entire YMCMB camp recently, it looks like the dynasty may be on a steady course towards its downfall.

Just this past year, numerous artists from YMCMB have come forward expressing their disgust with the way that the label has supported their career. Busta Rhymes left not too long ago, while Lil Twist and Tyga have both expressed their issues with the label, but no one could’ve ever imagined in their wildest dreams that Lil Wayne would call out the label as well. However, that’s exactly what happened yesterday.

Weezy, who rarely ever makes appearances on Twitter, took to the social media site and called out Birdman a.k.a. “Baby” and Cash Money for blocking the release of his highly anticipated and long-overdue album, Tha Carter V. While the album was originally scheduled to be released on December 9, 2014, Wayne informed his many fans that they will sadly have to wait even longer. He blamed Birdman and Cash Money as the entities who “refuse to release it.”

After apologizing to his fans, Wayne took things even further when he revealed that he truly wants to escape from the shackles that he believes YMCMB have placed on him. Weezy referred to himself as a “prisoner,” and blamed the label for limiting his creativity and even said that he “wants nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain’t that easy.”

Birdman, has not responded to Wayne’s shocking comments, but fans have been firing off over the drama and made “Cash Money” and “Damn Wayne” among the Top 10 trending Twitter topics in the United States.

While a host of celebs, including Pusha T and Trinidad James have reacted to the news. It was Cali rapper Tyga, who most people were waiting to hear from since he aired out his frustrations with the label not too long ago. Tyga backed up his “Faded” collaborator’s decision, calling Weezy “LEGEND” just minutes after the “Believe Me” spitter ended his tirade against the company he signed to as a pre-teen.

Then if that’s not enough, Tyga also tweeted that his forthcoming album The Gold Album—the same one Cash Money was withholding—will be released independently.

Bill Cosby To Alleged 15-Year-Old Victim You Extorted Me In Bogus Lawsuit

Bill Cosby’s lawyers have struck back at one of his accusers in court, declaring that she tried to extort him for a quarter-million dollars and that she attempted to sell her story to a tabloid a decade ago.

If so, it would undermine the lawsuit Judy Huth filed against Cosby on Tuesday in California, claiming he molested her at the Playboy Mansion 40 years ago when she was 15.

In a court filing Thursday by Cosby’s attorney, Martin Singer, is seeking dismissal of Huth’s lawsuit and monetary damages, according to The Associated Press.

He wrote that her suit was filed only after she tried to extort $100,000, from Cosby, in exchange for her silence, a month ago. Later she bumped it up to $250,000 as more women came forward recently to allege Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted them in decades past, according to the filing.

TMZ reports that Cosby’s filing claims Huth tried to sell her story to the tabloids around 10 years ago but none agreed to pay.

If true, this would be crucial because Huth’s lawsuit stated she only recently discovered that she had suffered psychological damage as a result of the alleged molestation.

As a minor at the time, under California law, she would have to file a lawsuit seeking compensation from Cosby within three years of remembering the incident and connecting it to her trauma.

If she was trying to sell her story 10 years ago, that would fall far outside the deadline of “connecting the dots.”

Also, Huth’s lawsuit was not accompanied by a required certification from a psychologist that the trauma was newly discovered. The certification is required for the case to proceed under rules that extend the statute of limitations, Cosby’s filing states.

Tyler Perry and Longtime Girlfriend Welcome a Son

Yesterday, after following the social media presence of a woman close to Tyler Perry’s longtime girlfriend Gelila Bekele, blogs and news sites were able to guess that Bekele had given birth to Tyler’s son.

According to E! News, not only did the couple welcome a son on Sunday, November 30, but their source also revealed the name. The boy’s name is Aman Tyler Perry, which means “peace and represents ‘the true meaning of Thanksgiving and then, of course, the holiday season.’”

The source also said: “Everyone is doing great. They are so happy.”

Earlier this fall, when he was promoting the film Gone Girl, Perry accidentally told E! that he was having a boy and the dreams he had for his soon-to-be born child.

“The greatest gift I’m being given right now is the opportunity to give the little boy in me everything I never had, so that’s what I’m excited about. This beautiful human being that God has allowed to come into my life for me to get to know, because they come with their own personalities, who they are, to shepherd and usher him…”

Official congratulations to Tyler and Gelila on their new bundle of joy!
