16-year-old pop star Justin Bieber is this week’s king of the Billboard 200, beating out a new album from Monica, as well as previously released projects from Ludacrs, the Black Eyed Peas, Sade, and the Gorillaz.

Bieber’s new album, My World 2.0, hit no. 1 this week after selling 283,000 copies. It’s his second album and first no. 1, making him the young solo male artist to reach the top spot since August 1963, reports Billboard.com. His November debut hit no. 6 in November, and rose to no. 5 this week with 50,000 units scanned.

In at no. 2 is a new release from singer Monica. Her album, Still Standing, opens by selling 184,000 copies. It’s her second-highest sales week and charting album, only to her 2003 project After The Storm, which sold 186,000 to start at no. 1.

The new installment of Now That’s What I Call Music! arrived at no. 3 this week, selling 135,000. The 21-track collection features hit singles like Ke$ha’s “Tik Tok” and Rihanna’s “Hard”.

Later, at no. 7, we have Ludacris’ Battle of the Sexes falling four spots with 45,000 copies sold; Lady Gaga’s The Fame slides three places to no. 8 with 41,000; Marvin Sapp’s Here I Am drops seven spots to no. 9 with 39,000; and the Black Eyed Peas’ The E.N.D. moves down two positions to no. 10 with 34,000.

Right outside the top 10 was Sade’s Soldier of Love, which lands at no. 11 with 31,000 sold, and the Gorillaz’s Plastic Beach sat at no. 16 with 22,000.

As for other new releases, Snoop Dogg dropped his More Malice album. It opened at no. 29 with 15,000 copies sold, while Brotha Lynch Hung’s Strange Music debut Dinner and a Movie opens at no. 68 with 7,900.
