I can honestly say that after the first Insidious movie i was hoping that they would have a 2nd version and they delivered!!!! I think you should check out this movie during the day for real!!!
(Via Ballerstatus)This weekend, moviegoers wanted scary, so they went out to see Insidious: Chapter 2, which topped the box office, beating out the Robert DeNiro comedy, The Family.

The haunted-house horror sequel reached $41 million to take the top spot, tripling the take of the 2010 original. Furthermore, it debuted on Friday the 13th, and scored the highest September opening day ever, according to the Associated Press. In the film, the haunted Lambert family seeks to uncover the mysterious childhood secret that has left them dangerously connected to the spirit world.

Relativity Media’s The Family, starring DeNiro alongside Michelle Pfeiffer, debuted at #2 with $14.5 million. In it, notorious mafia family, the Manzoni’s, are relocated to Normandy, France under the witness protection program, where fitting in soon becomes challenging as their old habits die hard.

After debuting at #1, Riddick drops to #3 with $7 million to bring its two-week haul to $31.2 million; Lee Daniel’s The Butler fell to #4 this weekend with $5.5 million; and We’re The Millers closes out the top 5 with $5.4 million.
