The original game was postponed due to the rain. Well the game is back on! The violence within our neighborhoods is real. The change we want to see is up to us. Pitching For Peace is a way for the Cincinnati Police Department, and 101.1 The Wiz to raise awareness of the issues of violence in and around the city of Cincinnati. Monday, May 13th at 5:30pm at the Hirsch Recreation Center the Cincinnati Police department, city leaders and your favorite station are coming together in Peace! You should be there! This is a family friendly, fun event. The softball game will last five innings. During the third inning the police department and other vested community groups will give safety presentations about violence and other issues that plague our communities. Make a difference by simply showing up!
