Okay so VH1 cutting the checks…in half!!! After they give a cut to debt collecteors
In interviews, “Love & Hip Hop” star Lil Scrappy said VH1 was cutting them checks… but apparently, he’s not getting the full amount because they are being garnished to pay off a $100,000 debt.
According to TMZ.com, the Atlanta rapper was ordered to pay $72,218.68 to a concert booking company called Heavy Rotation back in 2010, after he lost a legal battle in GA court.
Apparently, he didn’t care … and never paid. Since then, the debt has ballooned to $108,510.38 with interest and attorney’s fees.
Since Scrappy hasn’t paid up, Heavy Rotation requested that chunks of his “Love & Hip Hop” money go straight to them first, until the debt’s satisfied … and the court has reportedly signed off on.
