Braxton Miller, Ohio State’s Heisman Trophy candidate at quarterback, was slammed down to the turf after a long run, suffering  injury that was severe enough that he was taken to a local hospital. At the end of a 37-yard run, Purdue cornerback Josh Johnson tackled Miller hard, and Miller seemed to hit his head on the turf. Miller was down for several minutes and then was helped to the bench. He was in severe pain, doubled over and moving gingerly, as he was moved from the bench to a cart.

After Miller was taken to the locker room, ESPN reported that Miller was being taken to a local hospital. The broadcast of the game showed the ambulance at Ohio State’s locker room. If  you didnt catch the hit, check out the video down at the bottom.
