Its officially summer and we’re going to feel it today. Temperatures are expected to reach close to 100 degrees by early Thursday afternoon and a similar pattern will follow Friday.

A Heat Advisory has been issued until 8pm. Heat illnesses are highly possible such as dehydration, heat stroke, and head exhaustion. Adults and children with respiratory illnesses should limit your time outside.

Never leave a child unattended in a vehicle. Please check on your elderly neighbors!

What to do in order to stay cool-

  • Drink plenty of fluids
  • Stay out of the sun
  • Stay in an air- conditioned room

Cincinnati Rec centers are operating as cooling centers and are open to the public during normal business hours.
