As a fan of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop, it was somewhat of a no brainer for me that I’d be tuning in for the ATL spinoff. It’s the kind of reality show that exposes the lifestyle and strained relationships of rappers on the grind.

At the end of the day it’s entertainment, but at the same time these are people’s lives. Some can argue that the wrong things are being glorified (such as money, fame and sex), and that the show actually is a poor representation of people of color. Or is it more so a reflection? One thing is for sure, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta will spark a lot of conversation!
