At some point it happens. You have a hot selling music group, and then band members go solo. Dirty Money is no exception. We knew Dawn Richards was working on her own album, but word has it that Kalenna Harper herself is going full force at a solo debut.
The 29 year old singer/songwriter has been on a long journey to the level in her career and now she’s ready. Kalenna had this to say:
“As of now, Kalenna is solely focusing on her solo career and that is all that concerns her at the moment,” her rep tells TheYBF.com. “Dirty Money is a hind thought and doesn’t seem to be in any future plans.”
Expect a viral visual of Kalenna’s work on 11/11/11. She says her music is“experimental harmonies over worldly tracks paired with lyrics from a diary tucked deeply into a heart that has beat to and for so many.”
It will be interesting to hear her voice carry a record alone. It’s a very brave and respectable move. Is this it for Dirty Money? We’ll have to wait and see. Keep logging-on to Wiz Nation for updates!
