The show introduces four of the best female officers in the city. These women have to put up with racial slurs as well as gender discrimination. Suspects are constantly yelling and telling them to get real jobs and saying that they aren’t real cops because they are women. I gotta say, I give them credit for putting up with that sh*t.
Officer Mandy Curfiss is the first officer we get introduced to and she gets called a “white b*tch” several times by some chick she arrests. Officer Colleen Deegan works for vice and she’s after some crack cocaine dealers by using her confidential informants. She’s pretty bada**. She has several tattoos and two motorcycles. Oh, and she arrests prostitutes.
Officer Rose Valentino is a patrol officer who works the late shifts in a really bad neighborhood of the city. While she’s driving, she actually sees a guy shoot a woman! Later, you see her at home with her daughter and you see how hard the job is on the families. Sergeant Tia Pearson is introduced while dealing with a guy that got maced by security, which is hilarious to watch with the background music they throw in. She’s entertaining to say the least.
