Looks as if legendary comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live is looking to shake things up.
According to published reports, comedienne Jenny Slate, who joined Saturday Night Live in 2009, will not be returning this season.
As a replacement the producers are reportedly looking to add 22-year-old Jay Pharaoh, who is the first black comedian to audition since 2003.
According to The Washington Post, Pharaoh flew up to New York last month and got the good news two weeks ago after meetings with executive producer Lorne Michaels and the show’s writers.
He will appear on SNL in the upcoming season.
