Despite playing a cop on Law & Order: SVU, rapper Ice-T failed to show respect for a true New York City cop yesterday. Ice-T expressed his rage via Twitter after he was arrested near the Lincoln tunnel for driving with a suspended license and not wearing a seat belt.
“Some punk b**** rookie cop named Fisher just made the arrest of his bulls*** career,” he tweeted. Ice T, 52, and his wife, Coco, were pulled over in their 2009 white Cadillac sedan at around 9 a.m. They had just dropped their bulldog, Spartacus, off at the vet for knee surgery and were returning to their New Jersey home.
The mirror of Ice-T’s Cadillac brushed against a cop at a checkpoint, and the cop then motioned for him to pull over. He did not stop until after cops had run up to his car and banged on the tinted windows.
Ice-T was then arrested after insulting the cop and he was taken down to the precinct for about three hours where he was fingerprinted and given a desk-appearance ticket.
