A heartbreaking news story came across my desk this morning as I read how two men in Georgia have been charged with their alleged involvement in the sexual molestation of a 10-year-old girl.
The young girl has been sexually abused by Danny Lee Arnold, 19, and his older brother, Thomas Marcus Arnold, 21. Both of the brothers face charges of child molestation, cruelty to children, sexual battery and aggravated sodomy.
How did the authorities find out about it all? A very short time ago, the Department of Family and Children Services learned the young girl was pregnant and has since then undergone an abortion according to startling reports from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Easy to answer but hard to fathom that it actually happened, right?
Well the plot thickens as we also hear that the aunt of the two brothers charged, Lisa Arnold, 28, has been involved in her own issues with sexual activity, but the only difference is she’s been arrested for incest after reportedly having sex with both of her nephews. The entire family is from the Union City area of Atlanta.
