Sad news this weekend for basketball fans with the details of 47-year-old former NBA basketball player Manute Bol’s passing.
According to the most recent reports, one of the world’s tallest basketball players at 7-6, Manute’s death was attributed to a life-threatening kidney. It was also reported that Manute Bol suffered from “Stevens-Johnson” Syndrome, a serious condition that left him unable to eat for 11 days. The 47-year-old former NBA star died in Charlottesville, Va.
