(AllHipHop News) An accountant who defrauded Rita Ora has been jailed.
Andrew Munday, 38, used the money he took from the pop star to buy houses and Star Wars memorabilia, as well as membership at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
Munday admitted to nine counts of fraud in Northampton Crown Court and was jailed for five years and eight months.
He defrauded Ora’s company out of almost $3.1 million over seven years.
Speaking after sentencing on Wednesday, Det. Sgt Richard Barnett from Northamptonshire Police told the BBC, “Munday abused his position of trust, which has caused significant financial and emotional harm to all of the victims.”
