Well, we just caught wind of the exciting news that the runway supermodel is linking up with her very first modeling agency, IMG, which has since given birth to quite a few new faces in the fashion and beauty circuit. This time around, however, Tyra Banks has inked the deal of all deals to include her very own company, Bankable Enterprises.
Ranked as the world’s number one international model management firm, IMG Models is positioned at the forefront of model management and talent discovery. Gisele Bündchen, Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford are just a few of the leading female fashionistas represented by the top international agency which also has offices in Hong Kong, Paris, London, Milan and its parent office in New York City.
She’s a smart woman, I tell ya, and she plans to be an active participant in commercial endorsements and other fashion-related opportunities while still maintaining a level of creative freedom many models of her stature are still attempting to acquire. She’s given us a modeling competition which also broke down the doors for young models who don’t always fit the mold of what the fashion industry says is beautiful. She’s launched her own talk show with ratings that have blown tons of other new shows of its kind right out of the water. And she’s even taken on music and other forms of entertainment production with her upcoming novel “Modelland.”
