Mary J Blige has been teasing her new song, “Thick Of It” during performances and now we have the full song. While going through her divorce from Kendu Isaacs, Mary has been busy in the studio expressing how she feels. Even after 12 years of marriage sometimes things don’t work out and Mary says, “it doesn’t feel good.”
“If you know me, you know what I’m dealing with right now. The ‘Thick of It’ is the divorce and all this stuff that’s going on right now. It’s the heaviness of it and the whole thing… I’m in the middle of a divorce and it doesn’t feel good. It feels terrible, but I have strength to get through and I get through by any means necessary” – TJB
